AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United will play the eleventh match of the Premier League season on Saturday, 2nd November at the Vitality Stadium.
AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United meet this weekend at the Vitality Stadium for the eleventh match of the Premier League season. Bournemouth are currently ninth in the league with 13 points having won 3 games, drawn 4 and lost 2. Manchester United are seventh in the league with 13 points having won 3 games, drawn 4 and lost 3.
Despite having the same number of points as Manchester United, Bournemouth’s recent results have not been particularly impressive. Last weekend they drew with Watford and in the match before with Norwich City. Prior to that, they lost to Arsenal, and that came after a draw with West Ham and a loss to Burton Albion. Manchester United have been performing better. They defeated Norwich City last week and before that Partizan. They are the only team so far to have prevented a Liverpool victory, holding them to a 1 – 1 draw earlier in October, but they did lose to Newcastle United before that game.
The teams have played many times in the last few years. They last played in December 2018 and Manchester United won 4 – 1. Manchester United also won their three previous meetings, and the last time Bournemouth defeated United was back in December 2015.
