Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 5th May in what is a vital game for the hosts.
Arsenal are hosting Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium this weekend and if Arsenal are going to have any chance of a top four finish, they need to claim the full three points. Arsenal are fifth in the league with 66 points, but they are just two points below Chelsea and four below Tottenham.
However, Arsenal have been in very poor form recently. They have lost their last three league games, against Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace. Their last league victory was against Watford in the middle of March. Brighton’s results have not been impressive either. They drew with Newcastle United last week and lost to Tottenham Hotspur the week before. They have not won a match in a long while.
The teams last played in December last year and the game ended in a 1 – 1 draw. Before that they played in March 2018 and Brighton won 2 – 1. However, Brighton lost the five games prior to that, and with Arsenal in urgent need of a good results, this match will not be easy.
