Atalanta welcome Benevento to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia for both teams 14th round of the 2017-18 Serie A season on Monday.
The hosts come into this match on the back of a Thursday Europa League trip to Everton. Thursd’s assignment should however not be a hindrance as they have pretty much qualified for the next round. In the league, they will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 13th round loss to Inter Milan that left them in 12th position with 16 points. Andreas Cornelius should be the man to spearhead their attack.

Benevento are bottom of the standings in their promotion season having lost all 13 matches played so far. They are by all means unlikely favourites in this one; it would be prudent for them to go into it in search of just a draw. Their most recent match was a 2-1 loss to Sassuolo that saw Gaetano Lartizia sent off in the 67th minute. Samuel Armenteros, who grabbed a goal for them in the 65th, will be a starter in this one too.
