Barcelona will look to take another step towards another increasingly likely La Liga title when they host Athletic Bilbao for a 29th round fixture on Sunday. Enersto Valverde’s side sit eight points clear of second placed Atletico as they come into this match which will serve as the sign-off for the international break.
They come into the match on the back of a commanding 3-0 win over Chelsea in midweek that saw them seal their quarter final slot in the Champions League. They have drawn Roma in the quarter finals. Ousmane Dembele was on the scoresheet against Chelsea and will again be a key figure in Sunday’s tie.
Bilbao are 12th on the log coming into this match. They were bundled out of the Europa League after a 2-1 loss to Marseille in midweek. Inaki Williams was their main man in that match and will again star here alongside Aritz Aduriz. A win would see them get into the top half of the log.
