Belarusian side Bate borisov welcome Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade to the Borisov Arena for their fifth match in Europa League Group H on Thursday. Coming into this match, the hosts sit third in the group with four points, one behind their midweek rivals in second.
The hosts were thrashed 5-2 by bootom side Koln on match day four. They will also look to get the better of six points after playing to a 1-1 draw with Belgrade in the first leg. Nikolai Sihnevic, scorer of their second goal against Koln, will be their main striker. He was also on target in the first leg.
Red Star Belgrade held Arsenal to a goalless draw at Emirates stadium and will come seeking the win that would all but guarantee their progress from the group. Richmond Boakye will once again lead the team’s attack s alone striker. Aleksandar Pesic will also be a threat down the flank, returning from scoring a hat-trick in the league a fortnight ago.
