Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt meet at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, 18th May for the final game of the season.
Bayern Munich are hosting Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena on Saturday for the final game of the Bundesliga season. Bayern Munich are currently at the top of the table but have just a two-point lead so they need to win this match to be sure of winning the league. Eintracht will also be motivated to win as they still have a small chance of a top four finish.
Bayern Munich have been in reasonable form lately, drawing with Leipzig last week and defeating Hannover the week before. They have not lost a game in a while (having lost just four all season) but they have drawn a number of matches. Eintracht Frankfurt have been struggling recently, they lost to Mainz 05 last week and were knocked out of the Europa League by Chelsea. Before that, they lost to Bayer Leverkusen 6 – 1.
The teams last played in December last year and Bayern Munich won the game 0 – 3. Before that, they played in August and Bayern Munich won 0 – 5. Eintracht Frankfurt won the game before that, in May 2018, but it was their only victory from the last seventeen meetings.
