They also recently defeated Switzerland on penalties but lost the game before 3 – 1 to the Netherlands.
The teams have played just three times in the past. Most recently was in March this year when England won 5 – 0. Before that they played in August 2008 and the game ended in a 2 – 2 draw, and England won their first match 2 – 0 back in 1998. The Czech Republic will be eager for the three points, but it appears they have an uphill battle.
