Englandand the Czech Republic meet at Wembley Stadium on Friday, 22nd March for theirfirst European Championship qualifying match.
England and the Czech Republic start their campaigns to qualify for the Euro 2020 this weekend. They are playing at Wembley Stadium, and it should be an opportunity for England to shine.
England have been playing well since the World Cup, most recently defeating Croatia, and before that the United States and Spain. The team has been building in confidence and should be in top form. The Czech Republic has had results that were more mixed, defeating Slovakia and Poland, but losing to the Ukraine and Russia.
The teams last played in 2008, an international friendly game that ended in a 2 – 2 draw. They are in a relatively easy qualifying group, but both teams will still come out fighting for the full points. England of course have the home advantage, and given their recent form, they are the firm favourites to win this match.
