Everton and Manchester United meet at Goodison Park on Sunday, 21st April and United will be chasing the full three points.
Everton are hosting Manchester United at Goodison Park this weekend and the game could be quite a battle. Everton have produced some good results recently against the top teams while United are in a close battle for a top four finish and will be determined to claim the full three points.
Earlier this month Everton defeated Arsenal 1 – 0 and in March they enjoyed a 2 – 0 victory over Chelsea. However, last weekend they lost 2 – 0 to Fulham, suggesting that they are suffering some problems with consistency. Manchester United have been much improved recently, but they have also had some slip ups. They have lost twice to Wolves in the last month and Everton will take heart from this.
Manchester United have won the last three meetings with Everton, most recently 2 – 1 in October last year. It has been a very long time since Everton last beat United, the last victory was in April 2016, and since then they have lost six games and drawn two. With both teams aware of this, Everton may face an uphill struggle.
'@ManUtd, @Everton and Sky Sports - you're all desperate to stop @LFC winning the league!' 😏— Sky Sports Premier League (@SkySportsPL) April 16, 2019
"It's been Liverpool TV for the last month!" 🤣@Carra23 isn't having @GNev2's suggestion that @ManUtd should be resting players against @ManCity...😉 pic.twitter.com/GsflXYMyct
