France will go head to head with Germany on 16th October in another group match up in the UEFA Nations League. In the first fixture in Germany, the hosts had to settle for a barren draw with the 2018 World Cup champions. Germany will be looking to capitalize on their eternal class while the French are still celebrating winning the World Cup for the first time in 20 years.
Sure, Germany had a horrible run in the World Cup this year, but this doesn’t seem to have affected their performances going forward, so expect Muller and Co. to keep pushing whatever team they come across. They are still a star-studded team and will hopefully learn from the failures of months ago.
Expect the likes of Paul Pogba, Anotoine Griezmann and Nabil Fekir to provide a stern test to the Germans while battling the vivacity of an away crowd. Pretty balanced as a contest.
