German side FC Koln welcome Arsenal to the RheinEnergieStadion for Europa League Group H’s fifth round match on Thursday. The hosts are underdogs as they try to avenge a 3-1 loss suffered at the hands of the English side on match day one.
Koln are currently bottom of the group but a surprise win over Arsenal would revive their chances of qualifying. Belgrade, who occupy the second qualifying spot, have five points as they line up to face Bate, who have four. Jhon Cordoba will look to score against Arsenal again, this time with the hope that his goal can secure three points.
Arsenal, top with 10 points, are all but assured to qualify top. Arsene Wenger will again give this game to youngsters, the likes of Matt Macey in goal, Eddie Nketiah, and Aines-Maitland Niles. Jack Wilshere will also have the chance to get some more playing minutes under his belt. None of the senior players who will have faced Tottenham over the weekend is likely to feature.
