Krasnodar welcome Fernerbahce to the Krasnodar Stadium for the first leg of the Europa league round of 32 on Thursday, February 16. The host side are fifth in the Russian Premier League, and finished second behind Schalke 04 in group in the previous round.

They have conceded in each of their last five games, and managed to win just one of those (D2 L2). Brazilian midfielder Joaozinho is their key man, and will be dispatched to control happenings at the centre in a match where they will be more obliged to defend.

Fener finished top of their group above Man United. They are fourth in the Turkish Super Lig, and pretty much clear favourites in this first leg tie. A forward combination of Robin Van Persie and Moussa Sow is likely to start, as they seek to take the game to their opponents and secure the tie early on away goals. Van Persie hasn't been himself for a long time and will want to be in among the goals.
