UD Las Palma’s welcome Barcelona to the Estadio Gran Canaria for the 26th round of the Spanish League on Thursday. Paco Jemez's side will look to mount another bid to rise from relegation places as the competition nears its final third. They understand their position well and would gladly take a draw against the league leaders despite playing at home.
They come into this match on the back of a goalless draw with Leganes on Saturday. It is the same defensive solidity that manager Jemez would want to show against Barca. Pedro Bigas will be instrumental to that end in defence. Jonathan Calleri will stick upfront as a solitary striker.

Barcelona come in on the back of a 6-1 win against Girona during which Luis Suarez collected a hat trick. Phillipe Coutinho was also on target and will be in action again as the Catalans continue to seek the third piece of the Suarez-Messi front line. A win would see them extend the lead over second placed Atletico which stands at ten points ahead of match against Sevilla.
