Leicester City and Newcastle United meet at the King Power Stadium on Friday, 12th Apriland Leicester will be looking to bag the full three points.
Leicester City are hosting Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium this weekend and the hosts will be keen to claim all three points. Leicester are seventh in the league and tied with Wolves, and while Leicester will not be able to catch up with sixth placed Manchester United, they do have the chance to cement their position.
Leicester have been in good form over the last few weeks and won four games in a row, against Fulham, Burnley, Bournemouth and Huddersfield. They should be confident going into this game against an out of form Newcastle. The Magpies have been struggling in recent weeks, losing to Crystal Palace and Arsenal, and drawing with Bournemouth before that.
The teams have a balanced recent history. Leicester City won their last match in September 2018 0 – 2 but Newcastle won the one before that, in April 2018, 1 – 2. Newcastle will be hoping for a repeat of that match, but it looks as if they will have to work very hard for it.
