Liverpool seem to be solidifying their quest for the PL trophy in 29 years.
Since picking up their first loss of the campaign in an away game to Manchester City, they have risen to beat Brighton and Hove Albion, so remain 4 points clear at the top. The Reds have managed to win 18 games this season, which is one more than last season’s champions and perennial rivals City. The PL title is now in Liverpool’s graces to lose, and only they can break that good bit of charm.
Last time out away, the Reds beat Leicester 2-1, and home win seems to be on the cards. The Foxes are resurgent at the moment and will be happy to be sitting at a lofty 8th at this point in the season. They will therefore be expected to be able to put in a case for their own abilities, so the hosts have to be careful.
