Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion will play the fourteenth match of the Premier League season on Saturday, 30th November at Anfield.
Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion meet this weekend at Anfield for the fourteenth match of the Premier League season. Liverpool are currently first in the league with 37 points having won 12 games and drawn 1. Brighton are twelfth in the league with 15 points having won 4 games, drawn 3 and lost 6.
Liverpool have been in fine form this season and are yet to lose a match. Recently they have defeated Crystal Palace 1 – 2, Manchester City 3 – 1, Genk 2 – 1 and Aston Villa 1 – 2. Brighton’s results have not been as consistent. They lost their last game 0 – 2 to Leicester City and before that, they lost 3 – 1 to Manchester United. However, they did defeat Norwich City 2 – 0 and Everton 3 – 2.
The teams have not played very often in recent times and Liverpool have won their last seven meetings dating back to January 1991. The last time Brighton defeated Liverpool was back in 1984 and given the Red’s current form, it seems unlikely that Brighton will end this trend this time around.
💬 "They played very well after the break and the truth is that we didn’t, the match got away from us for 25 minutes from that point, so it’s a learning curve."— Brighton & Hove Albion ⚽️ (@OfficialBHAFC) November 27, 2019
