Liverpool and Chelsea meet at Anfield on Sunday, 14th April and the game is sure to be another test for the Reds as they pursue the title.
Liverpool are hosting Chelsea at Anfield this weekend and the game is sure to be a true test for the Reds as they keep chasing the title. Liverpool are just one point below Manchester City in the title race and if they are to have any chance of winning then they cannot afford to drop a single point. Chelsea on the other hand are chasing a top four finish, and a win would go a long way to securing one.
Liverpool have been back in good form recently. They have won all of their recent matches, defeating Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham, Bayern Munich (in the Champions League), and Burnley over the last month. Chelsea have enjoyed some good results, defeating Brighton and Cardiff, but they did slip up against Everton and were held to a draw by Wolves.
The teams last played in September and the game ended in a 1 – 1 draw. Chelsea won both of their previous meetings, and the two games before that ended in a draw. The last time Liverpool defeated Chelsea was in September 2016. This game is sure to be a true battle and could be extremely exciting.
