Liverpool and Huddersfield Town meet at Anfield on Friday, 26th April and it should be a very straightforward game for the hosts.
Liverpool are hosting Huddersfield Town at Anfield this weekend and it should be an easy three points for the hosts. Liverpool are currently locked in a battle with Manchester City for the top spot and they can’t afford to drop any points while Huddersfield Town are set to finish the season at the bottom of the league.
Liverpool have been in excellent form recently, they have won all of their recent matches, in both the Premier League and the Champions League. Most recently, they defeated Cardiff City 0 – 2 and Porto 1 – 6 (on aggregate). Huddersfield Town are in the almost exact opposite position, they have not won a match in a very long time. They recently lost 1 – 2 to Watford and have won just three of their thirty-five matches this season.
The teams last played in October last year and Liverpool won the game 0 – 1. Before that, they played in January 2018 and Liverpool won that game 0 – 3. Huddersfield have not defeated Liverpool in a very long time, since 1959, and it seems unlikely that this game will end any differently.
