After rousing performances for Leicester throughout the season, Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez now has his name bandied around top football sites all the time. The player capped a sensational season for the Foxes by picking up the PFA player of the year award, having notched an amazing 17 goals and 11 assists in the current campaign of the Premier League.
Having been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United in the past few months, the 25-year old is now being touted as the next big signing at hometown club PSG. However, Mahrez is unmoved. Speaking to Onze Mondial, a French magazine, the Algerian has stated clearly that a move back to France 'does not excite me'.
He went on to say that he loved England and feels Leicester are the right fit for his ambitions at the moment. Giving insights into the attitude in the Foxes' dressing room, the winger said that he loved his teammates' fighting spirit and sees it as key in the PL run-in.
