Manchester United have had two disappointing results in a row, losing 4 – 0 to Everton and being knocked out of the Champions League 4 – 0 (on aggregate) by Barcelona. In fact, their only win in recent weeks was 2 – 1 over West Ham. Chelsea have been fairing far better, defeating Slavia Praha 5 – 3 in the Europa League and only losing to Liverpool recently in the Premier League.
The teams last played in February in the FA Cup and Manchester United won 0 – 2. Before that they played in the Premier League in October 2018 and drew 2 – 2. Before that they played in May 2018 and Chelsea won the game 1 – 0. This match is sure to be quite a battle and should be extremely exciting.
