Fenerbahce player Luis Nani has hit out at former boss Louis Van Gaal in a scathing analysis of the Dutchman's training methods. Talking to the Sunday times, Nani has indicated that his loan to sporting in the 2014-2015 window was acrimonious and that the manager was brash in his methods on the training field.
Nani endured a torrid spell under Van Gaal at united, which led to the temporary switch to Portugal before making a permanent relocation to Turkey. The winger says that he was used very rarely in games, and that these omissions came with no explanation or justification whatsoever. In addition to that, he argues that Van Gaal had a way of shouting orders, which did not go down too well with members of United's dressing room.
The player is not the first to slam the Dutch coach, and he certainly will not be the last but you can argue that Van Gaal's prospects at united are not any clearer, as the management has yet to make any suggestion as to whether or not there is a replacement lined up.
