SSC Napoli retreat to their Stadio San Paolo home ground in Naples, Italy, to try regain their footing in a Champions’ league campaign that started badly when they welcome Feyernoord on Tuesday.
Maurizio Sarri’s side were edged 2-1 by Shaktar in the opener despite going in as favourites. They even had to rely on an Arkadiusz Milik penalty to get them back into the game when they were 2-0 down late in the second half. Sarri will definitely unleash a tough twin attack of both Milik and Dries Mertens. Saturday’s Serie trip to SPAL precedes this match.
Feyernoord were whipped 4-0 by City in the opener, and know it doesn’t get any easier in the second round. They will sit and soak up the pressure, but they are not known to give up too much possession. Nicolai Jørgensen will warm up for the match against NAC in the Dutch top flight as he is likely to be the lead attacker on Tuesday.
