New England Revolution and Los Angeles meet this weekend at the Gillette Stadium for the next match of the MLS season. Los Angeles are leading the Western Conference by a huge margin and they will be looking to make their lead even bigger this weekend.

New England revolution are seventh in the Eastern Conference with 33 points having won 9 games, drawn 6 and lost 8. They are tied for points with Montreal Impact and one point above Toronto. In recent weeks, they have defeated Orlando City, Cincinnati and Vancouver. Los Angeles are top of the Western Conference with 49 points having won 15 games, drawn 4 and lost 3. They are 11 points above the Seattle Sounders. In recent weeks, they have defeated Atlanta United and Houston dynamo, and lost to LA Galaxy.

The teams have played just once before, in September 2018 and the game ended in a 1 – 1 draw. Based upon their current season, New England would likely be very happy to come out with a similar result this time around.
