Trencin is currently 4th in the Slovak super Liga. They qualified to play at the Europa Play-Offs after beating Feyenoord 1-5 on aggregate.
They are very are good at home and are able to score a lot of goals too. They scored 4 goals against Gornil Zabrze at home and reted the same against Feyenoord. Their strength is clearly on their striking force led by Antonio Mance but their defense is worrying. They have conceded in all of their previous 3 matches. Coach Ricardo Moniz should work on his defense so as to make it easy for his boys on the return leg.
AEK Larnaca has been super impressive coming to this stage of the competition. They ousted Dundalk on 4-0 aggregates and Sk Sturm Graz on 7-0 aggregates to get to the play-offs. They haven’t conceded a goal yet in their journey to the Europa league but they have scored many goals in the process. Their defense is solid while their striking force is lethal. Their lead man Midfielder Ivan Trickovski, will be key to their performance in this clash. They only need to score a goal or two and do the rest of the work at home in the second leg.
