Senegal welcome South Africa to Dakar for the return leg of their CAF region world Cup qualifier next Tuesday. The match will be the second between the sides in the space of four days after a replay of their first leg in Polokwane, South Africa.
The Lions of Teranga are favourites to qualify for next summer’s event as they already occupy top spot in Group D with eight points before the next round of matches. They are two ahead of second placed Burkina Faso with a match in hand. The team has seen a great revival under the management of Aliou Cisse. They are especially endowed in the attacking front where they boast names like Sadio Mane, Mousa sSow and Mame Biram Diouf.
Bafana Bafana are bottom of the group with four points, but could go above both Cape Verde and Burkina Faso with a win over Senegal in Saturday’s replay. Their squad mainly comprises of players plying the local league. Tokelo Rantie will be their main attacker in this one.
