Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, 27th April and Spurs will fancy their chances.
Tottenham Hotspur are hosting West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend and Spurs will be eager to strengthen their chance of a top four finish. Spurs are currently third in the league with 67 points, with Arsenal and Chelsea just one point behind and Manchester United three points behind, meaning that Spurs cannot afford to drop any points.
Spurs have been in good form recently, they knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League on away goals and have enjoyed a number of domestic victories. West Ham have been far less consistent in recent weeks, they have lost to Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United, while they drew with Leicester City in their last game.
The teams last played in the League Cup in October last year and Spurs won the game 1 – 3. They also played in the Premier League in October and Spurs won that game 0 – 1. In January 2018 they drew 1 – 1 while West Ham defeated Spurs 2 – 3 in October 2017. While West Ham are sure to give their all, Spurs have far more riding on the game and this could inspire them to be very impressive.
